Oxford United are out for revenge when they go after The Bloods this afternoon.
The memory of their shocking 3-1 defeat by Droylsden at the Butcher's Arms in October is still fresh in the minds of many fans, and Darren Patterson.
But United's manager admits the team have still yet to prove to him that they are capable of consistency, and of building on last weekend's encouraging 3-0 win over Histon.
Droylsden may be bottom of the Blue Square Premier, and without an away win all season.
But Patterson has experienced let-down before, which is why he said: "I do not expect us to beat Droylsden on Saturday."
He added: "We have no god-given right to beat them. They will come here and raise their game enormously, as does every team that comes to our stadium, and we will need to battle and first earn the right to play.
"We need to educate everyone - the players, the fans and the media - that this is where we're at. We're not a big club, not if you look at our results.
"And we will only stand a chance of beating them with 100 per cent effort and commitment."
Patterson was happy with the win over Histon, so is unlikely to make more than one or two changes to his line-up.
And although the U's were on the back foot in the first 15 minutes against the Stutes last Saturday, Patterson believes that was down to the opposition's impressive start rather than their own failings.
"Last week I think you've just got to give Histon credit.
"They bombed us in the first 15 minutes, but that was more to do with one or two technical things from us."
Patterson warns Droyls- den will be no pushovers.
"I watched them on Tuesday night and while Burton did well to win it 3-0, I thought that at 1-0 they were very lucky not to concede.
"If it wasn't for Kevin Poole they would have let two in at that stage. Droylsden were up and at them, and Saturday is a tricky day for us.
"We'd really like our fans to go away a lot happier than they did after our away game against them.
"That was a horrible performance and sticks in my mind.
"But I don't think even half the team will be the same on Saturday from that day, and we will be looking for a very different performance and result."
Luke Foster has recovered from a back problem and will continue his central defensive partnership with Barry Quinn.
Wrexham midfielders Conall Murtagh and Levi Mackin have extended their loan deals with the Bloods until the end of the season.
Droylsden boss David Pace has no new injuries, but he will be without the suspended Lee Roche, who was sent off at Burton in midweek and must now serve a two-match ban.
