A six off the penultimate ball sent Charlbury spinning to a four-wicket defeat by Preston Capes in Division 1 of the Banbury Indoor Cricket League.
With Rob Garrett making an unbeaten 28, Charlbury posted a challenging 107-3.
But Preston Capes scraped home at 112-2 with James Hawkes hitting the fifth ball of the last over for six.
Jack Taylor starred in Great & Little Tew's 28-run win over Sandford St Martin.
He made 19 to provide Mark Haupt (30no) with good support as Tew totalled 97-4, and then took 3-32 to send Sandford crashing to 69 all out.
Banbury beat clubmates Banbury A by six wickets, while Oxfordshire captain Ian Hawtin (24no) led Banbury to 60-0 after Ed Smith had picked up 2-13 as the A team were held to 58-5.
Cropredy beat Hinton-in-the-Hedges by five wickets.
Nathan Hawkes took 2-20 to help restrict Hinton to 72-4, before Cropredy raced to victory with Ralph Orchard making an unbeaten 23.
