Banbury United had two players sent off as they exited the BGB Southern League Errea Cup at the quarter-final stage with a 1-0 defeat at home to Hillingdon Borough.
Wayne Blossom got his marching orders for an alleged elbow on Mark Kirby in the 40th, minute and Lewis Travers followed him for dissent two minutes from time.
Andy Wheeler kept Banbury in the tie with two fine first-half saves, but it was more even after the break.
Kirby eventually decided matters in the 80th minute, his header proving the only goal of a niggly game.
