Will Wright hammered a hat-trick as Oxford University Press got the better of Kennington in a nine-goal Oxfordshire Senior League Premier Division thriller.
Leading 5-4 with seconds remaining, OUP were indebted to James Humm's goalline clearance as Kennington pressed for the equaliser, having earlier trailed 4-0.
Wright slipped the ball under Neil Purvis after being set up by Jimmy Gray to give OUP a first-half lead, but it wasn't until the second half that the game sprang to life.
Gray set up Wright for his second, before the former allowed Matty Spooner to open his account with a drive. And it was 4-0 when Gray's pass saw Wright complete his hat-trick.
It should have been all over for Kennington, but they had other ideas, with Adam Fitzgerald's header reducing the deficit.
However, they were breathing a sigh of relief when Gray's rocket-shot hit the underside of the bar before being cleared.
Strikes from Richard Dunham and sub Serge Laventer cut OUP's lead still further, only for Gray to set up Spooner for his double.
But Kennington didn't give up, with Dunham netting a second, before Humm's clearance saw OUP hold on.
