Ollie Murrey starred as Banbury A opened the Division 1 programme in the Banbury Indoor League with a 14-run win over Cropredy.
He hit an unbeaten 25, and with Cropredy's wayward bowling contributing 44 extras, Banbury rattled up 102-4.
Murrey then picked up 3-28 to help bowl out Cropredy for 88, despite a valiant 35 from Nathan Hawkes.
John Best (25no) and Ian Hawtin (21no) took Banbury to 89-1 and a five-wicket win over Preston Capes.
Rob Williams made an unbeaten 23 in Preston's 88-3.
Charlbury got off to a flying start with a 36-run victory over Great & Little Tew.
Ashley Rump thumped 33 not out in Charlbury's 105-5, and then Craig McCallum took 2-25 as Tew were rolled over for 69.
Chas Taylor (28no) and Martin Anson (25) set Sandford St Martin on the way to a 32-run victory over newcomers Hinton-in-the-Hedges. Their knocks saw Sandford make 110-5, and Hinton were then bowled out for 78.
