BANBURY United have secured the services of young forward Ben Acquaye after he re-signed for the club.
The left-sided player scored six goals in 48 appearances in his debut season for the Puritans, helping Andy Whing’s side to an historic promotion.
The club is set to play at the highest level in their history in the 2022/23 campaign, as they prepare for life in Vanarama National League North.

After retaining 22-year-old Acquaye, Puritans boss Whing said: “Ben has been absolutely fantastic for us, and we’re obviously delighted he’s with us for the new historic season.
“He is everything we want in a player – young, hungry and ambitious.”
Acquaye added: “I’m delighted to sign for another season on the back of a great season last year, I can’t wait to get going for the new season.”
Acquaye joins the likes of Giorgio Rasulo and Kelvin Langmead in signing new deals at the club.
