It could see United take more than 3,000 supporters to the newly-relegated Rams.

United have never played at Pride Park, with the two clubs last meeting in a competitive fixture in April 1994.

A bumper home crowd is expected following Derby’s recent takeover as the hosts start their first third-tier campaign since 1986.
