OXFORD United will have a new name on the front of their shirts this season after ending their partnership with EB Charging.
The sustainable energy solutions provider sponsored the U’s in the 2021/22 campaign.
It meant the EB Charging logo was displayed on United’s shirts for first team, women’s and academy fixtures.
OPINION: Not yet time to panic at Oxford United's quiet start to transfer window
The club say a new principal partner will be announced ‘soon’ as fans await the launch of the official 2022/23 kit.
The U’s wore a ‘pre-season kit’ at Oxford City last Saturday produced by new supplier Macron, with no sponsor on the front.
Managing director Niall McWilliams told the club’s official website: “It has been fantastic for the club to have partnered with one of this country’s leading companies in the sustainable industry, so well connected to Oxford.
“The work EB Charging has been doing to install much-needed infrastructure in Oxford has demonstrated their passion and desire to drive clean air across our beautiful, historic city ensuring a safer environment for all of us.
“We want to thank everyone at EB Charging for their support of our football club. Everyone at the club shares their commitment to a clear, more sustainable world and we hope to team up with EB Charging again in the future."
