The next generation of University boxers celebrated a decisive 7-4 victory in their annual encounter at the Oxford Union.
Welterweight James Robertson collected the boxer-of-the-night award after he made full use of his extra height to defeat durable Bulmershe rival Adam Hood.
Moving down a weight, John McCarthy frustrated Berinsfield rival Phil Brown, who was disqualified after picking up three public warnings for holding.
And Dark Blues captain Tom Hughes cruised to victory by imposing two counts to extinguish the challenge of Apex rival Lewis Dyment inside two rounds.
Melvin Chieu saw little reward for the energy expended as Berinsfield rival Roxroy Eccleston proved slicker on the counter to claim a split decision following their featherweight clash.
Chieu did, however, get the prize for best loser.
Danny Morris claimed the second Berinsfield success as he launched into Patrick Kibbe to build up an early lead.
The student rallied late in the clash, but not enough to erode the sizeable early difference between the pair.
Ronald Highet conceded the opener and rallied strongly in the final two periods to claim a clear points win over Bulmershe rival Iftakhab Ali.
And the students gained a second light heavyweight success over the Berkshire gym after southpaw Richard Briggs edged out David Tomala on a split verdict.
Paul Field salvaged some pride for Bulmershe in the next light heavyweight clash, imposing a count from a six-punch flurry during the middle period as he comfortably outboxed Carmine Battista.
But there was disappointment for super heavyweight Peter Anderson, who was caught cold and upended by a stunning right uppercut from Basingstoke rival Gregory Bridet inside a minute.
A further barrage made him wobble to prompt the referee's intervention before the opening round of the night's final bout had drawn to a close.
Meanwhile, the two women's tournament bouts at the start of the evening went the way of the students, with Jen Johnson and Becky Lee both claiming clear wins on points.
Johnson's better workrate had the edge over the more precise punching of her Metropolitan Police rival Kate Osbourne.
She underlined this by imposing a standing count - following an unanswered flurry in the dying seconds.
Lee had the extra power and stamina to dictate her flyweight clash with Bulmershe's Mickaela Machado from the bell and imposed a count from a seven-punch flurry during the middle session.
And the high standard was maintained in two more female contests that involving four students having their ring baptism.
Kate Newton's superior jab in the first two periods gave the nod in a frantically-paced women's bantamweight clash.
This was despite a sustained final round rally from Merton College rival Harriet Tear.
And Annelie De Vries had to come from behind, imposing a count after connecting with a succession of right hands in the final exchanges, to defeat Courtney Blodgett.
Switch-hitter Neil Robertson edged out Andy Barnes on a split verdict following an untidy light heavyweight encounter.
