Oxford City Stars coach Darryl Morvan has praised the discipline shown by his players during Sunday's 5-1 win against Telford.
Morvan was unhappy about the lack of protection his players received against the Tigers who had two players sent off.
"Against Telford, the team had to contend with opposition where at least half the team had no interest whatsoever in playing ice hockey, but just seemed to want to injure their opponents," said Morvan.
"Our players showed remarkable restraint, especially when initially they were being given little or no protection by the referee.
"I have to say that those individuals concerned have no place in this game, and just talentless idiots who the league should seek to exclude totally from this level."
