Chinnor are now in the driving seat to land the South West 1 title for the second time in three seasons.
Their dramatic 19-16 victory at Bracknell gives them a one-point lead in the table with seven matches to go.
But Chinnor's jubilant celebrations at the final whistle were in contrast to the stunned Bracknell camp.
Bracknell's player-coach and ex-England international Chris Sheasby said: "We've had three poor defensive games this season and two of these have been against Chinnor.
"We came back to score two great tries bringing the score back to 16-16.
"But on the final play we didn't get the ball into touch, missed three tackles and gave away the penalty for them to get the winning kick.
"Chinnor are an average team and never looked like scoring. We deserved a draw."
He added: "You would have thought that after 23 years you would be able to get used to this type of result, but it still hurts me and will be hurting the players.
"We had prepared well and executed the plan for the first ten minutes.
"Chinnor thought they knew our lineouts but we sold them dummies and took them apart in the drives.
"But the referee failed to penalise them for repeated infringements.
"He disappointed me and should have had a stern word.
"It wasn't until five minutes before the end of the match that he warned them. This was weak!"
