BANBURY United received another boost ahead of the new season as three more players signed new deals.
Midfielder Alex Babos, left back Sam Brown and goalkeeper Jack Harding have all agreed contracts for the 2022/23 campaign.
It means nine players have committed to Banbury for the club’s first season in Vanarama National League North, while manager Andy Whing has also signed a two-year deal.

Harding’s new contract takes him into an eighth season with his hometown team and he cannot wait to get stuck in.
He told Banbury’s website: “I’m over the moon to sign for another year, there isn’t anywhere else I want to play my football.
“When Whingy said that he wanted me to sign again for this year that’s all I needed to hear.
“We’ve got a great group of lads, staff and amazing support and I truly believe together we can have a really exciting season at this next level.”
Brown moves into his third season with the Puritans, while Babos arrived last summer. The pair were key players as Banbury won the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central title by a mammoth 23 points.

Whing was thrilled to see all three players put pen to paper, adding: “Jack has been fantastic for this football club and we’re delighted he has signed again for the upcoming season.
“We’ve got two very good keepers at the club, who will push each other on.
“Sam has been a brilliant signing for us and we’re delighted he’s staying with us for another year.
“His consistency and energy down the left hand side has been really important for us and we’re looking forward to that continuing.
“Since joining us late last pre-season, Alex has been an integral part of the team.
“He’s another player that we believe can improve and has a great hunger and appetite to get better and better.”
