NATHAN Douglas ended his career with a fifth-placed finish in the triple jump at the British Championships.
The 39-year-old recorded 15.73m, with an illegal wind.
There was better news for Oxford City AC’s Eloise Hind, who took bronze in the heptathlon, with 5,318 points.

Jade O’Dowda, formerly of Oxford City AC, finished eighth in the 100m hurdles and long jump, while Zoe Pollock came sixth in the 400m hurdles, in a time of 59.01.
In the men’s under-20s 3,000m race, Rowan Miell-Ingram (Radley AC), ran a personal best time of 8:19.76 for fifth place.
Long jumper Alice Hopkins finished tenth in the women’s long jump with 5.94m, while Kate Watson (Oxford City) was in the pole vault, but battling a five-metre wind, failed to record a height.
