EDDIE Pepperell will hope for an improvement on his previous performance in Germany when he tees off in Munich this morning.
The Abingdon golfer starts his opening round at the BMW International Open at 9.20am BST, alongside Italy’s Lorenzo Gagli and Joel Stalter, from France.
Pepperell is competing in southern Germany, having played in the north of the country in his last tournament.
The Frilford Heath member tied for 99th at the Porsche European Open in Hamburg, missing the cut after taking 80 shots to complete his second round.
Pepperell begins this week’s event ranked 551 in the world, despite finishing joint-14th at the Dutch Open last month.
The 31-year-old has made the cut at only three of his ten tournaments in 2022.
