ELLIOT Benyon has found a new club in Vanarama National League South.
The forward has joined Slough Town after ending his three-year stay at Oxford City.
The Berkshire side know all about the former Southend United striker's quality, having been on the receiving end of a wonder goal from halfway on Boxing Day.
City won that game 3-2, with Benyon also scoring in a 2-2 draw at Arbour Park one week later.
The 34-year-old was last week hailed as ‘one of the best signings we’ve made’ by Justin Merritt, co-owner and director of football at Court Place Farm.
Benyon arrived in 2019 and helped City reach the National League South play-offs last season, scoring in the 2-0 eliminator win over Eastbourne Borough.
Slough finished 13th in 2021/22.
