SIX members of Banbury United’s all-conquering squad of last season have signed contracts for 2022/23.
Jack Stevens, Jay Williams, Connor Roberts, Henry Landers, Morgan Roberts and Ben Taylor have agreed terms for the Puritans’ first campaign in Vanarama National League North.
They all played a part as Banbury won the Pitching In Southern League Premier Central title last season and manager Andy Whing wants more of the same next term.

He said: “I’m delighted to get these six players over the line after how well they did last season for us.
“But last season has gone now and every single player we’ve re-signed wants to improve and impress at the next level and have ambitions to further their career, which is exactly the attitude we want at the football club.”
Several of the group arrived at Banbury after coming through the ranks at English Football League (EFL) clubs.
Stevens earned a professional contract at Oxford United, as did Williams and Morgan and Connor Roberts at Northampton Town.
Taylor was on the books of MK Dons and Cambridge United as a youngster.
Meanwhile, North Leigh have announced their first batch of re-signings.
Roger James, Jordan Thomas, Callum McNish, Amer Awadh, Aaron Heap, Michael Hopkins, Ben Brown, Levi Steele, Owen Dore and player-coach Aaron Woodley have all agreed terms.
The Millers are preparing for their first season in Southern League Premier South after winning promotion in 2021/22.
