FORMER Oxford United youngster Adam Smith has joined Thame United.
The 18-year-old striker arrives at the ASM Stadium following his release by the U’s at the end of last season.
Smith was part of the club’s 2020 intake of scholars, having previously been in the youth setup at Queens Park Rangers.

He scored twice in last season’s FA Youth Cup and bagged the opener in United’s 2-0 win over Thame in the Oxfordshire Senior Cup semi-final.
Smith also spent time on loan at Weston-super-Mare in Pitching In Southern League Premier South.
Thame said they held off competition from ‘a number of clubs’ to sign Smith ahead of the new Division 1 Central campaign.
They also announced David Pearce, George Gilmore and Lewis Thorne have agreed to stay with the club next season.
Thame finished eighth in Division 1 Central last term, 11 points off the play-off places.
