Michael Woodward scored a late winner as Kennington reached the fourth round of the Oxfordshire Senior League's President's Cup with a 2-1 extra-time win against Oxford University Press.
After a goalless first half, Woodward twice cleared off the line. And OUP's pressure paid off when Lee Kilpin fired home.
Two minutes later, Kennington were level through Jay Morris.
OUP went for the winner, but Kennington keeper Neil Purves denied them with a string of fine saves.
Kennington had a great chance to win it in normal time, but skipper Richard Dunham fired wide from six yards.
It looked as though the game would end in penalties, but late in extra time, Woodward unleashed an unstoppable drive for the winner.

Kidlington Old Boys came from behind as the beat Middleton Cheney 5-2.
Cheney opened the scoring on 15 minutes when Steve Ciballi headed home.
But Kidlington battled back with Kevin Ronaldson (2), Terry Spokes, Jonny Richards and an own goal seeing them take a 5-1 lead.
After the break, Scott Finch clawed a goal back, but it was too late.
Gary Crook hammered a hat-trick for Adderbury Park as they won 5-2 at Garsington.
Chris Martin and Lee Byrne got their others, with Darren Cuddy and Andrew Mousey netting for the hosts.
Chris Jordan got the winner for Stonesfield as they beat Horspath 1-0.
The goal came on 20 minutes when Jordan put away a cross from Nick Clarke.
Marston Saints pulled off a shock as the Division 1 side sent Premier Division outfit Watlington spinning out of the Ben Turner Cup, with a 3-2 defeat.
A surprise was on the cards, when Gary Duckett headed home midway through the first half.
However, Adam Couling levelled with a controversial strike, despite appearing to handle in the build-up to the goal.
Just before the break, Duckett restored Marston's lead after good work from John Hudson.
Simon Godfrey lashed home the equaliser and it looked all over when Watlington were awarded a penalty. However, Andy Clarke saved the spot-kick.
And the shock was completed when Harry Jenkins's free-kick found the back of the Watlington net.
Pete Higgins scored the winner for Eynsham as they beat Kings Sutton 1-0.
Kidlington Old Boys Res made the semi-finals of the Clarendon Cup after battling back three times to beat Eynsham Res 6-3 after extra time.
Russell Whitlock got the opener for Eynsham and although Lee Ratcliffe equalised, John Crump re- established Eynsham's advantage.
Chris Wise brought Kidlington level, only for James Reeve to give Eynsham a 3-2 lead.
With time running out, White grabbed his second to send the tie into extra time.
Ben Reeves's gave Kidlington the lead, before a double from sub Chris Thorn completed the turnaround.
Goals from Mark Scanes and Rocky Whiting saw Garsington Res to a 2-0 win at Stonesfield Res.
Doubles from Will Rum and Paul Gray saw OUP Res reach the third round of the Ivor Gubbins Cup with a 6-1 drubbing of Charlton Res.
Sub Scot Lambourne and keeper Rob Hamling, with a penalty, completed OUP's tally.
Former OUP player Kev James replied.
Marston Saints Res are through via a 3-0 penalty shoot-out win at Fritwell Res after a 2-2 draw.
They did it the hard way, coming from behind after James Mitchell volleyed Fritwell into the lead.
But Marston hit back with an Eric Enrique double giving them the lead.
Tyrone Gray levelled with a penalty after Tom Miles was brought down.
When extra time ended goalless, Marston triumphed in the shoot-out.
