BILLY Bodin has become the latest player to sign a new deal with Oxford United.
The attacking midfielder, 30, has agreed a two-year contract.
He is the third player in as many days to put pen to paper, after United announced new deals for midfielder Alex Gorrin and centre back Elliott Moore earlier this week.
And Bodin echoed his teammates’ sentiments as he targeted an improvement on last season’s eighth-place finish in Sky Bet League One.

He said: “I saw Elliott Moore and Alex Gorrin say they felt there was unfinished business here and I feel exactly the same way.
“We pushed really hard for promotion and just fell short at the end last season, so I want to play my part in doing better this time around.
“We have such a good group here and it’s a pleasure to be part of a side that is committed to playing good football.
“I have enjoyed every moment since I first signed and can’t wait to get back for pre-season and be part of the group again.”
OPINION: New Elliott Moore contract shows big club mentality
Bodin was the last first-team player to agree terms for 2022/23, meaning nobody else will leave the U’s for nothing this summer.
The former Bristol Rovers man will look to pick up where he left off after a strong end to the 2021/22 season.
He bagged six goals and four assists in 14 matches between January and the end of the campaign, with his ability from set-pieces proving a real asset.
Bodin joined on a one-year deal last summer after he was released by Preston North End, where injuries restricted him to 44 appearances in three and a half seasons.
He endured a frustrating start to his U’s career, playing just 11 games in the first half of the campaign, before hitting form in 2022.
