Oxford United are sending out a strong squad to play Abingdon United in a friendly at Northcourt Road on Tuesday night (7.45).
It will be almost a full-strength first team, with the exception of Billy Turley, who is given a rest because of a shoulder niggle, and could see the first appearance of new winger Michael Blackwood.
However, striker Craig McAllister is still not fit after he suffered a slight reaction last week in his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury, and he has only an outside chance of featuring in the Blue Square Premier game against Histon on Saturday.
Proceeds from Tuesday night's game are going to help Michael Alexis, Abingdon's former U's youngster who suffered horrific injuries against Paulton Rovers on January 5.
United will field a younger reserve side against North Leigh in the Oxon Senior Cup at Court Place Farm on Wednesday night.
