OISIN Smyth has been called up by Northern Ireland Under 21s for their final two 2023 European Under 21 Championship qualifiers.
The Oxford United midfielder is in the squad for the fixtures against Spain and Lithuania.
It comes after the 22-year-old was included in a senior squad training camp at St George’s Park earlier this month.

Northern Ireland’s Under 21s take on table-topping Spain in Larne on Friday (1pm), with their opponents' place at next summer’s tournament already secure.
They travel to Alytus next Tuesday (6pm) to face Lithuania, who they beat 4-0 in the return fixture last November. John Schofield’s side are fifth in Group C.
Smyth joined United in January and is yet to make a senior appearance for the club, but he has been a regular for his country’s Under 21s for the past year.
He is the second U's youngster to receive an international call-up in as many days, with James Golding yesterday named in the Republic of Ireland Under 19 squad.
