OXFORD United will be backed by a sold-out home crowd when they take on Sunderland this Saturday.
U’s fans this morning snapped up the final few tickets for the clash between two Sky Bet League One play-off contenders at the Kassam Stadium.
It means a capacity crowd of more than 11,500 will pack into Grenoble Road as eighth-placed United attempt to leapfrog Sunderland, who sit seventh.

It is the first sold-out league match at the Kassam Stadium since the Boxing Day 2016 defeat to Northampton Town, excluding games last season where capacity was restricted.
United will have had five-figure crowds at six of their last seven fixtures at Grenoble Road, with big followings expected against MK Dons and Doncaster Rovers later this month.
It equals their record for the number of 10,000-plus attendances in a season at the Kassam Stadium, having had six in 2019/20.
They are also set to pass their best average league crowd for a campaign: their current number of 8,207 is only slightly lower than the 8,297 they reached in 2016/17.
