JAMES Henry is not underplaying the importance of this week to Oxford United.
The U’s visit Morecambe tonight as they continue a run of three games in seven days that could prove pivotal to their Sky Bet League One play-off push.
United’s trip to Lancashire falls between clashes with promotion rivals Plymouth Argyle and Sunderland, but the relegation-threatened Shrimps are equally desperate for points.
Henry insists it can still be a positive seven days, despite the 1-0 defeat at Argyle.
The midfielder said: “We always knew this was a massive week, there’s no point hiding away from it.
“We knew it was going to be tough, with two long trips.

“We’ve still got two games and if we come out of there with four or six points we’re in a great position.
"This is what you’re in the industry for, this is what makes it exciting and hopefully we can rise to the challenge."
Injuries have restricted Henry to just four substitute appearances in 2022, but he looked bright at Plymouth.
The experienced midfielder is now targeting a sustained run in the side.
Henry said: “I’ve had some frustrating niggles and nervy stuff going on in my back.
“It was enjoyable to be back out there with the boys, hopefully I can pick up where I left off two and a half months ago and kick on.”
