BANBURY United took another step towards the title with a 2-1 win at home to Hednesford Town.
The visitors went ahead after 26 minutes when Todd Parker unleashed a low effort into the corner of the goal, however just six minutes later, the Puritans hit back when Morgan Roberts curled in a free kick on the edge of the box.
With 12 minutes to go, Andy Whing’s side secured the points when Giorgio Rasulo fired home a penalty.
The result leaves Banbury 20 points clear of Coalville Town in Pitching In Southern League Premier Central.

In Southern League Division One Central, North Leigh conceded a late equaliser against play-off rivals Welwyn Garden City, after Oxford United loanee Slavi Spasov came on at half-time to assist Jordan Thomas.
Thame United drew 0-0 at Barton Rovers, while Didcot Town lost 4-2 at home to FC Romania and Kidlington lost 1-0 at Biggleswade.
Bottom side Wantage Town lost 3-0 at home to Ware.
