JOEY Beauchamp gave Oxford United fans countless memorable moments during his illustrious career, but one stands out more than most.
With the U’s hunting down Blackpool in the 1995/96 Division Two promotion race, the two sides met at the Manor Ground during the run-in.
The teams were locked at 0-0 when the ball dropped out of the sky to Beauchamp 35 yards from goal.
The winger took a touch before sending a looping volley into the top corner in front of an ecstatic London Road end.
It earned United a priceless 1-0 win, and continued their charge towards promotion.
The goal is widely regarded as the best goal scored at The Manor by U’s fans, and you can watch it here.
