CHARLTON Athletic have agreed a deal to sign former Oxford United loanee Marcus Browne, according to reports.
Football Insider claims the Addicks have agreed a loan deal until the end of the season for Browne, who is recovering from an ACL injury suffered last January.
The Oxford Mail understands Charlton offered a very competitive financial package to the 24-year-old, with the U’s known to have had firm interest for some time.

The two-time United loanee was given the green light to leave Middlesbrough this window, by former U’s boss Chris Wilder.
Browne first joined in the 2018/19 campaign on loan from West Ham United, before spending the second half of the following season on loan from Middlesbrough.
He scored 14 goals in 60 games across both spells with the U’s.
Browne was linked with a switch to United in December, and boss Karl Robinson said he was the calibre of player the club would look to sign in the January window.
