OXFORD United have rejected another six-figure bid from Blackpool for Cameron Brannagan.
Football Insider reported earlier that the U’s have turned down a £500,000 offer for the midfielder from the Sky Bet Championship club.
As the Oxford Mail understands it, that figure is not far off the mark.
United turned down a similar bid in August as the Seasiders tried to make a late swoop for the 25-year-old.
It comes as Brannagan reiterated that his aim remains success at the Kassam Stadium, adding: “My focus is to get promoted with this club, because I love this club and care for it a lot.”
The U’s are fifth in Sky Bet League One ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Lincoln City, with Blackpool 12th in the Championship.
Brannagan has 18 months left on his United contract, which includes a significant buyout clause.
The influential No 8 joined from Liverpool in January 2018 and has scored 19 goals in 168 matches.
