WANTAGE Town have signed former Oxford United striker Chris Zebroski.
The 35-year-old had a short spell with the U's in 2007 and has also played for Plymouth Argyle, Millwall and Bristol Rovers, among others.
Zebroski arrived at United on loan from Millwall towards the end of the 2006/07 season and scored two goals in ten games.
The striker joins the Alfredians from Swindon Supermarine ahead of today’s derby at home to Didcot Town in Pitching In Southern League Division 1 Central (1pm).
North Leigh host Kidlington in the other all-Oxfordshire clash, while Thame United go to Aylesbury United.
In Premier Central, Banbury United can further extend their lead at the top of the table when they host Stratford Town (1pm).
The Puritans are five points clear at the summit, while their opponents are tenth.
Andy Whing’s men have won their last four matches in Premier Central and a big crowd is expected at the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium.
