OXFORDSHIRE’S Jess Street secured two gold medals as the tournament circuit returns to normality following the coronavirus pandemic.
The Banbury teenager also claimed two silver medals and a bronze in a string of impressive results.
Playing in a higher age group in the Nottinghamshire Under 19 tournament, Street paired up with Ella Baxter of Warwickshire to take silver in the girls’ doubles, the pair losing only to the top seeds in the third end of the final.
Street went one better at the Avon Under 19 competition, as she partnered up with Jenny Tofts of Gloucestershire to win the girls’ doubles gold.

Elsewhere, Jason Ou continued his good form, claiming boys’ doubles silver in a high-quality field at the Redbridge Under 17 event.
His Oxfordshire teammate Adam Burden took bronze in the boys’ doubles, alongside Andrew Harrison of Sussex.
