SEVEN swimmers from Bicester Blue Fins competed at the Swim England Masters National Championships, with four medals claimed.
Dave Jardine, 45, took a spectacular gold in the 200m individual medley (45-49 age group) in a time of 2:28:63, in addition to bronze in the 100m individual medley, in a time of 1:05:99.
Dean Milwain, 35, took silver in the 200m freestyle (30-34 age group) and bronze in the 100m freestyle.
The event took place at the Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield.
There was more than 1,300 entries for this year’s championships, across 49 events.
For the majority of the Blue Fins swimmers, it was the first return to competitive swimming since the coronavirus pandemic hit.
