JORDANNE Whiley said it is unlikely she will compete at another Paralympics, having reached her goal of winning a singles medal in Tokyo.
Whiley won silver and bronze in the doubles and singles respectively at the Paralympics this summer.
The Steventon resident also won the doubles title at Wimbledon this year.
Those successes mean 29-year-old Whiley is comfortable with not competing in Paris in three years.

She said: “I’m probably not going to go on to Paris.
“I haven’t got any secure plans right now, nothing in concrete, but for me, I openly said that Tokyo was going to be my last just purely because I’m a mum of a young boy and it’s very difficult to travel.
“For me, although I didn’t get gold, my bronze medal is something I’ve been working towards for a very long time.
“I’d never been on the singles podium before so that was one of my goals.
“To improve on my bronze medal from the last couple of Games was a big achievement so I feel like Tokyo was a success in itself even though I didn’t manage to get the gold.”
Whiley and Lucy Shuker claimed silver in the doubles final this summer after defeat to the top seeds, Holland’s Diede de Groot and Aniek van Koot.
The silver medal represented a step closer to gold after Whiley and Shuker won bronze at both London 2012 and Rio 2016.
Whiley beat van Koot to win bronze in the singles this summer.

Tennis’ current sensation is of course, 18-year-old Emma Raducanu.
The young Brit’s impressive Wimbledon debut was followed up with a remarkable triumph in the US Open.
Whiley praised the way Raducanu bounced back from suffering breathing difficulties during her last-16 clash with Australia’s Ajla Tomljanovic.
“The first time I became aware of her was at Wimbledon and I was amazed by her,” said Whiley.
“I didn’t really know what was going to happen after Wimbledon because she had that panic attack.
“I totally understand why she had that because it was a big stage and something she wasn’t used to.
“For someone at such a young age to come back and bounce back from that is incredible and I can relate to her a lot, I had a very successful career at a young age.
“It’s an insane achievement [winning the US Open] and I think she’s got an amazing career ahead of her so I’m really excited to see her success.
“Plus she’s such a lovely person as well, which is nice when someone is so approachable and friendly.”
