FORMER Oxford United forward Rob Hall is on trial at Sky Bet League One rivals Gillingham.
The 27-year-old played 68 minutes of the Kent side's 2-0 friendly defeat at Leyton Orient yesterday, after appearing against Millwall in midweek.
Hall was not offered a new contract by United at the end of last season, although Karl Robinson did not rule out a return if he did not find another club.

Gills boss Steve Evans suggested he is yet to make a decision on Hall, along with several other players who have been on trial at Priestfield.
He told Kent Online: “I don’t think anyone has done enough yet to say we want to bring them in but you have to give people an opportunity.
“We know they are good players, yes, but it is not about being good players, you have to earn it wherever you go, but we will continue to look.
"We will keep the boys until the back end of the week and we will make the decision.
“There is no doubt they have quality in their play but we have to look at them and decide whether they are going to be capable of starting football matches (for us) and we are still on the fence."
Hall scored 25 goals in 112 United games across three spells, two of which came on loan as a teenager in 2011/12.
He had been with the club for five years before leaving this summer.
Gillingham finished tenth in League One last season.
