MIDE Shodipo says he is aiming for promotion after signing for Oxford United’s Sky Bet League One rivals Sheffield Wednesday.
The 24-year-old winger enjoyed a fruitful loan spell with the U’s from Queens Park Rangers last season, and has once again headed out on a season-long loan.
He told the Wednesday website: “I’ve heard so many good things about the club, I know Massimo Luongo and he’s said some really good things.
“It’s a big club, the fans are immense and I’m looking forward to working with Darren Moore.
“I want to come and help the team as much as possible and aim for promotion.”
Wednesday were relegated to League One after finishing bottom of the Sky Bet Championship.
