Stuart Peace has praised the contribution of striker Michael Bartley after their Boxing Day drubbing of Abingdon United.
It was sweet revenge for Peace whose side threw away a two-goal lead to lose 4-2 at Abingdon on New Year's Day.
Although the former Hayes frontman (pictured, left) didn't score in the derby victory, he was three times denied by a super stops from Simon Tricker.
"I thought he played very well," said Peace.
"He caused them all sorts of problems throughout the game."
He added he was also pleased with the display of keeper Lee Farrow, who played instead of shoulder-injury victim Michael Watkins.
"I didn't think we played that well. We were a bit lethargic. But we scored at vital times. It was all over by half-time.
"I know they had a few out, but so did we."
Ashley Vine should return for their New Year's Day home game against Marlow after missing the Abingdon game with a hamstring injury.
Watkins will be out for a couple of weeks.
They will also be without Jamie Heapy who is banned, while Peace watches from the stand as he completes a two-match ban for being sent off against Slough.
