Kennington reached the second round of the Oxfordshire Senior League's President's Cup with a 5-2 victory against Long Crendon.
Jay Morris opened the scoring for Kennington on 17 minutes, before skipper Richard Dunham doubled the lead with a tap-in from close range after Stuart Dunham's shot had been saved.
However, Crendon got back in the game when Mike Nichol slotted away a penalty after Kenny Eldridge was brought down.
Five minutes before the break, Crendon levelled when Tim Rantle met a cross from eight yards out.
That sparked Kennington into life, with Stuart Dunham restoring their lead with a superb lob.
In the second half, Morris went close to a second, but his long-range thunderbolt hit the bar.
Kennington made it 4-2 when Dunham got his second with an angled shot inside the box.
Morris's bad luck continued when his fine strike hit both posts before rebounding to safety.
On 81 minutes, Kennington completed their tally when sub Adam Fitzgerald slotted home Scott Hopper's cross.
Adderbury Park fought back to beat Rover Cowley 4-1 away from home.
Stephen Walsh gave Rover the lead, only for Adderbury to go 2-1 ahead.
After the break, Rover pressed hard for the equaliser, but were out of luck when Luke Bremner hit a post.
And two goals in the last two minutes compounded Rover's misery.
Craig Bagnall, Gary Crook, Ashley Bignall and Lee Byrne were the scorers for Adderbury.
Sam Gordon hammered a hat-trick for Horspath as they beat North Oxford 5-2 after extra time.
Dean Joseph gave North Oxford the lead, only for Gordon and Andy Kirtland to put the visitors in front.
But Oxford did not give up with Jonathon Ramsey levelling to ensure extra time.
However, Gordon completed his hat-trick and Paul Flack wrapped up their tally.
Marston Saints Res made the first round of the Ivor Gubbins Cup with a 5-3 extra-time victory against BCS Bardwell Res.
They went a goal behind to a Graham Berry strike before Jon James equalised after the break.
James Andrews restored Bardwell's lead before Berry got his second.
With time running out, James bagged his second before Kieran Johnson's last-gasp strike guaranteed extra time.
And they kept up their momentum, taking the lead through Paul Norton, before Lee McKiernan grabbed No 5 late on.
Kion Sadie scored the second-half winner for Eynsham as they beat Chadlington in the first round of the Ben Turner Cup.
Goals from Tony Bott and Dave Stevens secured a 2-0 win for Enstone against Charlton.
With the sides deadlocked at 0-0, extra time beckoned, only for Bott to slot the opener and Stephens to seal victory with their second.
