A last minute try ensured Witney lost 17-10 at home to Southern Counties North leaders Olney - their fourth defeat in a row.
Witney fought back to trail 12-10 midway through the second half and appeared to have the momentum, but it was not to be.
Olney took the lead from an unstoppable driving maul on their first visit to the Witney half.

Witney kept battling, but Olney scored late on from another driving maul.
Wallingford ended their year on a low note with a 16-15 defeat at lowly Slough.
Slough looked the more committed early on and took the lead with a penalty before Wallingford centre Pete Lloyd threw a great long pass for full back Henry Pooler to sprint in and score.
Visiting hooker Tom Hill was then punched in the face, causing an injury, which eventually saw him leave the field on the hour.
Another penalty put Slough 6-5 up, but Wallingford squandered great chances through Nick Risk and Kris Blaszko.
Flanker Matt Chapman's charge down allowed scrum half Derek Viljoen to score for Wallingford in the corner and Wallingford led 10-6.
Slough picked and drove well after the break, scoring a close-range try on 55 minutes.
A second unconverted score made it 16-10.
Wallingford were still struggling up front, but managed a second try when Lloyd fed Risk to score wide out.
Pete Strang again missed the conversion and Slough held on despite several cases of 'infectious cramp'.
Grove lost 32-8 at Buckingham with Ben Law scoring a try and Roger Sevier kicking a penalty.
