All three first-round matches in the Oxford & District League's Atox Cup finished in resounding wins.
Fieldside beat CCC B 6-0, CCC A defeated HCC A 5-1, and Ashton surprised in-form New Club 6-0.
Paul Robinson (50+) led the way for Fieldside in their defeat of CCC B by crushing Brian Mabbutt (50+) 75-60, 75-25.
Norman Woodcock (+20) surprised John Simpson (50+) 75-40, 75-41 and Bob Chivers (Scr) thrashed Ken Olive (+20) 75-48, 75-50. Robinson knocked in a 31 break.
Keith Pearce (+80) got CCC A off to a good start by edging past Pete Brookes (+20) 75-62, 75-61, coming from behind in each game.
Dick Hashman (Scr) won the match by outscoring Ghassan Al-Murani (+20) 75-66, 75-57, getting a 37 break in the second game.
Ashton's Pete Fenn (+20) defeated Dave White (+20) 75-36, 75-72. Keith Maskens (+20) saw off Alan Mander (+20) 75-73 and Terry Chambers (Scr) beat Alan King (Scr) 75-62.
In the first round of the Arthur Cook Cup, Brian Mabbutt (+20) came from behind to snatch a 200-199 win over Dave White (+80).
