Oxford City Stars are determined to get back to winning ways when they take on basement boys Vectis Tiger in the Isle of Wight tonight (6pm).
Last week's narrow 2-1 defeat to Peterborough was only Stars' second defeat of the South Division A season.
And coach Darryl Morvan says that he hopes that hard work in training this week will put things right.
"The players know that if we are to remain in contention for a play-off spot, then we need to approach each game as we did against Peterborough," he said.
"Vectis will not be looking to give us an easy time of it, and they have been having some good results on their home ice.
"They are used to the smaller pitch, and we will have to make sure we adapt to having less room to work in.
"The players are eager to finish this year in a good position and we go into the game with a full strength team.
"However, I am looking to call up some of our under 18 players to give them some experience of playing at ENL level too."
Tiger have lost all ten games this season, scoring just 16 goals in the process and letting in 102.
Joe Edwards, one of Stars' top under 18 players, has been called into the squad.
