JORDAN Obita has left Oxford United for Wycombe Wanderers.
The 27-year-old joins the Sky Bet Championship side for an undisclosed fee on a two-and-a-half year deal, less than three months after joining the U's as a free agent.
But United boss Karl Robinson explained it was a move that suited both parties.
He told the club's official website: “Jordan is an excellent pro and we enjoyed having him here.
"Wycombe made an offer which met our valuation and for Jordan it offers that little bit of security because he was only on a short-term contract.
"We wish him well for the future.”
Obita made 15 appearances for United, with his only goal coming against AFC Wimbledon on Boxing Day.
The move comes just hours after the U's signed centre back Luke McNally from St Patrick's Athletic.
