OXFORD United have been unable to rearrange a Sky Bet League One fixture for tomorrow.
Head coach Karl Robinson suggested the U's could fill their blank midweek by bringing forward either their home game against Wigan Athletic or the trip to Ipswich Town.
Those matches are scheduled for February 13 and 20 respectively, with both teams also without a match tomorrow.
Karl Robinson: Clubs must be creative to get games on
But head coach Karl Robinson confirmed neither fixture will be rearranged, meaning they are next in action when Bristol Rovers visit the Kassam Stadium on Saturday.
“We tried to move a game forward to Tuesday night, but that’s not happening at such short notice so we just have to train instead," he told the U's official website.
"We have another clear week and then our first home game in the league since Boxing Day.
“A month between home games is a long time in football, but we’re not complaining about things and we are in a good place oveall.
"We have always known that this season would be stop start and that we would have to be flexible and we work well as a club in those circumstances.
"It’s challenging, but we like a challenge and of course we know there are a lot of people a lot worse off than we are right now."
The postponement of the weekend's trip to Northampton Town means the U's will go three weeks without a league game, with the 5-1 win at Burton Albion on January 2 their last third-tier outing.
United are due to host the Brewers on the season's final day on May 8, but they must fit in at least 27 matches in 15 weeks before then.
Robinson continued: "We are going to have a really congested fixture list now, but the one thing we love is to play games of football.
"I think there is going to have to be some flexibility all round to try and find a way of getting games played.
"We came in and trained on Saturday and are in again today.
"All we can do now is work hard this week and get ourselves ready for the game at the weekend and try and pick up where we left off.”
