OXFORD United’s entire side deserve credit for their improved defensive displays, says Elliott Moore.
The U’s kept out Sky Bet League One’s form team, Blackpool, to claim a valuable point at Bloomfield Road.
United stood firm to prevent their opponents turning possession into goals, with two long-range efforts from CJ Hamilton that struck the woodwork their only real scares.
The 0-0 draw was the U’s second clean sheet in three league games, a welcome change after failing to register a shut-out before then.

It also saw Karl Robinson’s side climb out of the drop zone to 19th and centre back Moore hailed a team effort.
The U’s captain said: “The results are showing what our performances are all about.
“We’re a lot more resilient now.
“Earlier on in the season I think we defended well, but we just gave away sloppy goals.
“I think we’ve cut out those errors.
“They had a few chances, but so will everyone in every game.
“We defended well as a unit, from up front back to the keeper.”

United’s first league clean sheet away from home looked a tall order against a team who had won eight of their last ten matches in all competitions.
A hip injury to Rob Atkinson early in the second half was a setback, but John Mousinho slotted in seamlessly – and almost grabbed a stoppage-time winner as Blackpool goalkeeper Chris Maxwell tipped his header on to the post.
Moore said: “It shows the squad depth we’ve got – John is the club captain who has unbelievable experience.
“He helps everyone alongside him, especially me.”
He added: “Now I feel like we can go 90 minutes, everyone concentrated.
“We all help each other out and work together.
“We haven’t got the win but to come away with a point and a clean sheet is massive.”
