Botley teenager Claire Maden had double cause for celebration after winning silver and gold at the 11th Gola Karate international in Birmingham.
Maden, 19, beat tough opposition to gain silver in the kata, or forms section, but then swept away all the opposition in the fighting section to carry off the trophy, winning one of her fights 8-0 on the way!
The young fighter coaches the kids squad for Oxford School of Martial Arts, and her team also took medals in the kata and fighting sections.
Dominic Arkell, 8, from Stanton St John, put up a great display of determination to get a bronze in his section, going three rounds against some tough opponents.
Jojo Dawes, 11, from Beckley, narrowly missed a medal for her fighting, but came away with bronze for her kata.
Club coach Jake Wilson was delighted with their efforts.
"We are very proud of the squad," he said.
"It gives further inspiration to the children when the coach sets a winning example."
