Lightweight performers Andrea Dennis and Caroline Greves, of Wallingford, excelled in the 450-strong Scullers Head.
Dennis, a world championships finalist last summer, won the elite lightweight honours, the second woman to finish overall, just seven seconds slower than the winning heavyweight.
Greves, who started rowing at Headington School, won the senior 3 lightweight class, six seconds faster than the heavyweight winner in the same category.
This Sunday 300 crews compete in the Wallingford Head, racing starting at 10.30am.
