Jude Craft picked up her first Chiltern League victory of the season in the senior women's race at Luton.
Amid strong winds, rain and hailstorms, Craft clocked 22mins 44secs to win the race and take the vet 35 honours.
Other highlights included a top-ten finish for Chris Dettmar in the senior men's race, while Vasili Zverev was 28th to win the vet 40 age group.
Oxford City's veterans took the team prize, finishing three points ahead of Headington, while Headington's women were second in their veteran class.

Senior/veteran women: 1 J Craft (LV35) 22.44, 11 L Barker 24.22, 25 S Wolanski (LV45) 26.09, 45 M-A Fischer (LV45) 30.08, 46 A Clark 30.13, 55 D Evans (LV35) 31.23.
Overall women's team result: 5 Headington RR 170pts.
Veteran women's team result: 2 Headington RR 126pts.
- IN the junior events, Oxford City's Melissa Hawtin continued her winning streak with her third successive victory in the under 15 girls' race.
Clubmate Jade Walker was seventh and Ellie Clarke-Jacques was ninth - a result which puts them top of the league - three points ahead of Bedford & County.
In the Byren twins absence, it was left to Imogen van Zyl and Elissa Clarke to anchor the under 13 girls' team, along with Imogen Kempton and Lauren Hawtin.
Kempton led the way in third, with Lauren Hawtin finishing seventh, van Zyl 18th and Clark 23rd. This performance stretched their lead in the team standings to 62 points.
Josh Tack ran well to finish 11th in the under boys' race, while Beth Hawtin was second in the under 11 girls' event.
