OXFORD City have the chance to extend their superb start to the season tomorrow.
David Oldfield’s side sit fourth in Vanarama National League South ahead of winless Hampton & Richmond Borough’s visit to Court Place Farm.
As well as an undefeated start in the league, they are through to the Emirates FA Cup first round.
But any thoughts of the clash with Northampton Town need to be put to one side.
Oldfield said: “We have to make sure we are turning our focus to a very difficult league game.”
One of Wantage Town or North Leigh will become the first side to qualify through to the first round proper of the Buildbase FA Trophy.
The pair meet at Alfredian Park tonight and more tickets were made available yesterday to cater for the demand.
Banbury United have already reached the FA Cup first round next weekend.
But they will be aiming to match that in the Trophy by winning away at fellow Southern League Premier Division Central side Tamworth.
Kidlington are also on the road in search of continuing their run.
Ben Sadler’s side head to Portsmouth to take on a Moneyfields side who play at the same level and have made a slow start to their season.
Thame United are the final Oxfordshire side in Trophy action.
They are at home to Wimborne Town, who are from the tier above.
With only four fixtures on in Division One Central, Didcot Town can make up some much-needed ground.
They are second bottom, but could climb as many as six places with victory at Barton Rovers.
