Abingdon United lost 6-1 to a rampant Farnborough in Tuesday night's British Gas Business Southern League Division 1 South & West fixture.
The visitors were 3-0 adrift at the break and despite making three substitutions during the interval, they failed to stop the rot.
Nic Ciardini beat keeper Carl Wlikins in the tenth minute to put Farnborough ahead and the same player made it 2-0 on the half hour.
A 20-yard free-kick from Rob Saunders gave the home side a three-goal cushion at the break.
The substitutions made little difference for United, who fell further behind when a poor Dean Moss backpass let in Ray Spence on 55 minutes.
Ciardini added No 5 for his hat-trick and although Julian McCalmon pulled one back via a deflected free-kick, Marcus Richardson deservedly had the last word for Farnborough.
Abingdon Utd: Wilkins, Moss, Organ, Woodley, Franklin, McCalmon, Alexis (R Brooks ht), Herbert, Holden (Beechers ht), Carbon, Curtin (Odhiambo ht). Subs not used: Mills, Davie.
Attendance: 406.
