Gary Sutton fired a double as Faringdon Town beat defending North Berks League Division 1 champions Ardington & Lockinge 3-1.
Faringdon opened the scoring after six minutes when Gary Sutton fired home and doubled their advantage through Darryl Curtis.
After the break, Gareth Fenton hit the crossbar, before Sutton cracked home his second.
Ben Sutton clawed one back, it was too late.
Drayton went top with a 3-1 victory at neighbours Steventon, thanks to goals from Rob Powell, substitute Danny Curran and Richard Chilvers. Stuart Armstrong replied.
Coleshill United Res stretched their lead at the top of Division 2 with a 6-4 win at Saxton Rovers Res.
Peter Soane (2), Alan Souch (2), Matt Bugden and Chris Quinten scored for Coleshill, while Wayne Waldron (2), John Walker and Olly Wright were on target for Rovers.
Alan Donnelly hit a treble as Childrey hammered Marcham Res 8-1 in Division 3.
Mike Evans (2), Wayne Hogan, Daniel Cannings and James Wilkins got their others, with Declan Fulton netting for Marcham.
Grove Rangers Res are off the bottom after a 2-1 win at Drayton Res.
Chris Medlock and Paul Finch netted for Grove with Richard Payne scoring for Drayton.
Lee Cebeci bagged a hat-trick as Blewbury Res drew 4-4 with Stanford-in-the- Vale.
Leigh Janes got the other, with Ben Harrison (2), Simon Beazley and Jason Evans scoring for Stanford.
Wootton Res moved to second in Division 4 after a 3-0 win over Hanney United, with goals from Jon Fisher, James Booker and Joffy Boreham.
