North Oxford Res had to withstand a terrific comeback from Golden Ball before battling to 7-5 victory in the RT Harris Oxford City FA .
Trailing 4-1, Golden Ball hit back to lead 5-4.
Oxford were grateful to their keeper Tom Berry, who made three good saves before Jason Lleshi grabbed a second and Mark Gerbaldi completed a hat-trick to seal victory in the last five minutes.
Luke Leggett and Bruno Freitas were the other scorers for Oxford, with Colin Donahue (2), Patrick Keaney and David Preece the marksmen for Golden Ball.
Fairview's game against Great Milton was abandoned at half time due to heavy rain.
Kevin Warman had scored for the home side, with Julian Reed replying before the referee called a halt to proceedings.
