Abingdon ended their run of five straight defects by winning 15-14 away at BB&O Premier Division basement boys Wheatley.
Attacking against the wind in the first half, Abingdon pulled out to a 15-0 lead, with great tries from centre Frazer McCairns and Colin Turner.
Ian Thompson slotted a penalty and a conversion, but Wheatley bagged a converted score before the break.
They matched this feat early in the second half, but Abingdon held on.
Chipping Norton bagged their 11th successive league win with an emphatic 47-5 victory at Phoenix.
Playing against the wind, Chippy were heavily pressurised in the opening half-hour, but broke through when Lee Tustin scored from a driving maul.
Two quick scores from Matt Bennett and Jon Hickman, finishing some fine handling, both converted by Adam Smith, made it 19-0 at half-time.
Chippy had to defend well at the beginning of the second half, but increased the pressure to surge clear.
Aaron Tustin set up brother Lee for his brace with the former adding the next try.
Matt Dawson and Smith finished off two more flowing moves, Smith converting all four, to make it 47-0.
The hosts never gave up and scored from the last play of the game as the Chippy defence went to sleep.
Gosford All Blacks' young side ground out a 12-5 win against lowly Farnham Royal at Stratfield Brake.
Former Oxford Harlequins back Alex Webb soon made his presence felt by powering under the posts to give Tim Ellis an easy conversion.
In the 20th minute Gosford increased their lead when Dan Hughes forced his way over following a driving maul.
Farnham Royal upped their game after the break and were rewarded with a try from hooker Tony Florey, again from a rolling maul.
Flanker Marcus Stevens continued to excel for Gosford, who held on for the points.
