Fit-AGAIN Alan Green hammered a four-timer as Oxford City Stars completed a double over Swindon Wildcats with a 9-6 win in Saturday's English National League South Division A derby.
Two week's ago Stars beat Swindon 6-5 in Wiltshire.
Green, fresh from a four-week injury lay-off, gave Stars the perfect start when he hammered the puck home from close range past former City netminder Jamie Thompson in the opening minute.
And just 20 seconds later Green grabbed his second, before Oliver made it 3-0.
Patrick Knightley hit No 4 after good work from Kent Johnson and Oliver.
Oliver had a goal chalked off after the referee ruled the puck had been kicked in.
Wildcats hit back through Dan Prachar, and after Darren Elliott was sin-binned for roughing after a bodycheck on Swindon's Nick Gallagher, the visitors got a second through Jamie Newton.
Ollie Lansdowne replaced Thompson, but it made little difference as Green completed his treble and Oxford's former Swindon star Nick Eden made it 6-2.
However, Scott Gough and Shannon Taylor reduced the arrears, before Green grabbed his fourth to make it 7-4.
Oliver slotted his second, only for Newton to pull another one back. But victory was assured when Dean Francis hit No 9, having earlier hit both the bar and a post.
James Burnett clawed another back for Swindon, before tempers flared when Grant Bailey threw Swindon's Mike Smith to the ice after a bad challenge on his Stars' teammate Francis.
